教材: 人教版 Book6 Unit2 课型:Grammar 教学内容:The Subjunctive Mood in unreal conditional
理论依据 《新课标》提倡高中英语语法需从用的角度出发,强调语法教学不能局限于语法 范畴内, 必须与逻辑思维、文化意识、篇章语境等联系起来,从而发展学生的语法意识,确保语言使用的准确性。
教学内容分析 本节课主要通过 自主学习和探究、 小组合作学习来掌握非真实条件句中的虚拟语气,包括含蓄条件句。通过 “看例句 —— 总结规律 —— 完成练习”的学习过程,掌握具体语境中非真实条件句中的虚拟语气的用法。
学生分析 高一高二的学生对高中的英语学习有了一定的认识,并且积淀了一定的语法基础,具备较强的语言逻辑分析能力。设想:惠东县高级中学的学生英语基础较好,已接触了虚拟语气的基础知识。本节课的“非真实条件句中的虚拟语气”是新的语法内容,针对高中生较为独立、爱表现的性格特点,我们应当 加大学生参与主动学习和反馈的参与度。
1. Teaching aims: Three-dimensional targets (1) Knowledge Objective
After this lesson, students will get a command of the subjunctive mood in unreal conditionals. Hopefully, they can apply them in their writing when needed.
(2) Ability Objective ① By studying sentences, students can discover the predicate forms in unreal conditionals, including the contrary to the present, future and the past, also the implying ones.
② By finishing the exercises, students learn to apply what they’ve learnt in practice. (3) Emotional Objectives
By finishing the learning tasks, students are encouraged to learn on their own, as well as cooperate with their teammates. Meanwhile, students are helped to aroused their interests in learning English grammar by learning some grammar points about interesting topics. 2. Teaching Focus: Enable the students to learn how to use the subjunctive mood in unreal conditionals properly. Improve their comprehensive language study ability. 3. Teaching difficulties:
Task 1.
If I were a bird, I would have two wings. If I had two wings, I could fly in the sky.
If I flew too low, I might be shot by a hunter. If I spoke their language, I should make friends with other birds. Discoveries: Contrary to the present (与现在事实相反)

If Jack had not won the ticket for the Titanic, he could not have met Rose. If Jack had not met Rose, there might not have been such a romantic story. If Titanic had not hit an iceberg, the unsinkable ship would not have sunk into the ocean. If Titanic had not sunk, Jack and Rose should have led a happy life together.

If Jay Chou were to hold a concert in Huidong tomorrow, I would buy a ticket immediately. If I had a ticket to Jay’s concert, I might be too happy to sleep. If I should go to his concert, I could sing his popular songs with him and other fans. Discoveries: Contrary to the future (与将来事实相反)

Task 4. Subjunctive Mood in implying conditionals 含蓄条件句中的虚拟语气 定义:
含蓄条件句指的是 if 条件从句没有被明确表达出来,而用 介词短语 等形式表达与 条件句差不多的含义,这时谓语 仍用虚拟语气 。
eg: ①Without this competition(= If it were not for this competition), I could not meet all of you. ②But for your gelivable help (= If it were not for your gelivable help), we could not have a wonderful class.
Exercise 4. Fill in the blanks with the proper forms of the given words.
Focus: To arouse the interest by reading some interesting sentences, then discover the rules from the sample sentences. After that, do some exercises to consolidate their discoveries. Step 3. Feeding-back

Let’s enjoy a video, then fill in the blanks according to the video and try to retell it. Step5. Consolidation
