俗话说:万事开头难。新初一第一堂英语课上得是否成功有着深远的意义,它直接影响着学生对于初中英语课堂及老师的教学方法和教学能力的认知,面对着英语水平参差不齐的初一新生,我想我们的第一节课应该是既要体现知识又要注重兴趣的。新初一的第一堂英语课我想这样上:

Step1. Greetings

Walk around the classroom with a smile,ask some students several everyday English. for example: How do you do?/ How are you?/could you please tell me your name?(or what's your name?)/ how old are you?(or are you twelve?)/which primary school are you from?/what's your hobby? and so on.

Step2.Practice speaking and find new friends

Introduce myself to all the students first.( tell them my name,my hobby,my pet,my family and let the students guess my age.).then divide the students into groups (four students as a group), in each group,everyone should introduce himself/herself to others.then allow every student to walk around the classroom and find more friends,(at the same time they can speak English as much as possible.)finally,let's see who finds the most friends.

Step3.Practice writing

First,I'll write several drills on the blackboard: My name is ___, I'm __ years old, I like dogs/swimming,/. I have a good friend, his name is____ ,he is ____, he likes ___.ask the students to write their own sentents.then check each other's work.

Step4 Reading

Let the students read their sentences aloud,then ask some students to read what they have written in front of the class.

值日报告:duty report

每天我们会利用课前2到3分钟做值日报告,我们按照学号顺序论下去。可以单人做报告,内容选题可以是自我介绍(介绍自己的喜欢的食物、运动、偶像等)、英文朗诵,简单的小故事,英文笑话,个人经历,唱英文歌,按照课文内容进行主题演讲。或者自由组队、组团,进行对话形式或者表演。

值日报告结束后,当堂由我们同学自己评分。期末我们会奖励分数最高的前几位同学。如果有不知道怎么选择报告主题的同学,可以提前两天找我商量,我会相应的提出一些建议,让你们的值日报告更精彩。

3.读:早读+课后读(跟着录音大声朗读,模仿发音,注意语音、语调、语速)
